Nonprofit Work

I started working with nonprofits in the hope that some of my business experience might be useful to nonprofits. Traditionally, nonprofits are founded by extremely passionate and dedicated individuals who may not come from a business background. Over the years, I’ve been on the board of a nonprofit (StandUp for Kids), a philanthropic organization (Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund), and am currently a partner with Los Angeles Social Venture Partners (LASVP). Also, I talk informally with a number of nonprofits on a pro bono basis. If you feel like I might be useful to your nonprofit with respect to operational issues you’re facing, please feel free reach out.
